Life is growth.

Growth enables continuous adaptation to a changing environment. Therefore change is a necessary principle – regarding every individual as well as social structures and systems.

People are emotional, social and rational beings.

A benevolent organization considers this. We call an organization benevolent that is in accord with the postulate of biophily.

 

Postulate of biophily

This postulate has been formulated by Rupert Lay, with reference to Erich Fromm’s term ´Biophily`. An organization is biophilic, if the main orientation, attitudes, interests, decisions and actions increase human life in all its dimensions rather than reduce it.
